The building was completed on Friday, August 30th, 2013. The design provides a four layer care building with two radiotherapy rooms and an extension of the central hall with an espresso bar and a restaurant for the staff. Exceptional is the fact that together with the completion of the building the Building Information Model (BIM) is yielded. This turns Hospital Gelderse Vallei into the first project of Gortemaker Algra Feenstra in which, in collaboration with the client and the performing parties, a full BIM process is conducted.
