Holland Particle Therapy Centre

The Dutch medical centres Erasmus MC and LUMC have joined forces with the Delft University of Technology to open the first treatment centre for proton therapy in The Netherlands by 2017. This medical centre will also contribute to proton therapy research. The building covers circa 8,000m2. Construction is scheduled to start mid-2015. The first patients will be welcomed from 2017 onward. Eventually approximately 600 cancer patients will be treated annually at HollandPTC.
